MOSI I.D.E.A. Technology Enrichment

MOSI has a great I.D.E.A.
Beginning this school year, MOSI Education will launch MOSI I.D.E.A., an interactive after school technology learning environment where young people can express their interests, develop valuable skills, and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology and qualified educators. MOSI I.D.E.A., which stands for Imagine, Design, Express, and Achieve, provides a pathway for improved academics and the development of interests and skills utilized in sciences and other high-tech fields.

Imagine: At MOSI I.D.E.A. students explore their interests and creativity. Whether they record and mix their own music, learn a foreign language, or conduct scientific experiments, members are encouraged to expand their interests and develop new ones.

Design: We provide access and instruction in the use of software and hardware tools to better prepare students for the modern world. In MOSI I.D.E.A. students learn video game programming, make interactive Web sites, and create other high-tech projects. Students also learn Internet research techniques and how to write school reports and presentations.

Express: We find that the art of producing movies and building robotic inventions are more fun when done with others. Our team-oriented environment is the perfect place to make friends and work together to tell stories through media projects such as animation, video, and music.

Achieve: MOSI I.D.E.A. participants are encouraged to excel in their studies by educators who provide homework assistance and academic tutoring. The MOSI I.D.E.A. utilizes an approach that promotes the freedom to explore interests with the educational support to make ideas into reality.
